Aamir plays Ghajini in next

Aamir Khan has reportedly planned to remake a Tamil thriller Ghajini. Aamir seems to have liked the Tamil film so much that he even plans to produce the film. However the film will go on floors a year from now. The director of the original Tamil film, A R Murugadoss, has been finalized to remake the film in Hindi. The cast of the film is yet to be finalized.
Says Murugadoss, Aamir was quite impressed with Ghajini and therefore, expressed his desire to remake the film in Hindi. Murugadoss met Aamir twice and says that he is a very intelligent man. Shilpa and Sinha having an affair?

The director Anubhav Sinha directed Shilpa in Das. He even wanted the actress in his recent film, Tathastu. There is a rumor that Shilpa and the director are having an affair. In order to prove the rumors wrong, he chose Amisha Patel to be in his film, Tathastu. Sinha has already been talked about having problems with his wife. So far Shilpa and Sinha denied the rumors but who knows what is going to happen. Time will show.

Amrita: Ideal woman in a man's world!

She's the pretty girl-next-door, and we've seen Amrita Rao essay exactly that in most of her films till now. But very soon we'll see the gal transform into a quintessential Indian lady. The reason is simple - she's doing a Sooraj Barjatya film, after all; and every bit of Indianess that could be there, is packaged into a Barjatya heroine. Seconding that, Amrita says, "The Barjatyas portray their heroines in the most ideal way any girl can be showcased in a film. I have tremendous respect for directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rajkumar Santoshi, Barjatya, Subhash Ghai and Indra Kumar who have given actresses their due in an industry that is otherwise famously known as the 'man's world'." Now that sounds unlike the softie Amrita we know. Way to go, babe!

Emraan and Irrfan: Tom & Jerry!

Serial kisser Emraan Hashmi is not just popular with the ladies; the man can bond with his male friends just as quickly. Like when Emraan and Irrfan Khan got together for Mahesh Bhatt’s Killer, director Raksha Mistry actually thought Tom & Jerry had landed up on her sets. “Emraan and Irrfan are just fabulous, and their characters are like Tom & Jerry. They have a lot of give and take. I think they should be married,” she laughed, but added, “It definitely helped that they had worked together earlier and since they are playing themselves in the film it didn't really require them to work too much on their roles. They were more comfy, and almost all the scenes were okay after one take.” These two seem to have mastered the art of mixing work with some ‘tom’-foolery!

Sameera turns ‘quirky’

It’s not easy being a journalist, and Sameera found that out when she recently researched for the role of a television presenter. The actress actually sat glued to her television set and observed the body language of a number of TV presenters. The more glamourous, the better, she said. “It's a cute role,” Sam informs. “I play a city bred girl. She is very modern, hep and glamourous. She is a travel show presenter who loves to take very good care of herself and suddenly finds herself in the middle of nowhere. She is a very quirky kind of person.” Now that must have taken Sam loads of research - getting all those qualities from different television presenters. Now let’s wait and watch which TV presenters she has imbibed mannerisms from, shall we? Any guesses whether a few presenters are going to be irritable about the mimicry?

Urmila's morning blues!

All working professionals get Monday morning blues, and there's nothing new about that. And those who assume that our Bollywood stars snooze all through the day, catching up on in their beauty sleep, are quite mistaken. Their working hours are more erratic than one can imagine. And like many of us, Urmi baby also suffers from morning blues. "When I know I have to wake up early for a shoot the next morning, I start getting panicky from the night before. I keep thinking - what if I can't make it in time and I oversleep," says Urmila. That sounds more like pre-morning blues. Of course, even if the lady skips a few hours of sleep in the night, we won't be surprised to see her looking like a fresh daisy in the morning. So why worry?

Ya Ali takes UK by storm!

If you thought the music of Gangster was only topping charts in India, think again. Those in the UK think it’s the best music in recent times too. Apparently, we are told the song Ya Ali has been topping music charts for consecutive weeks in the Queen’s country. Singer Zubeen Garg can take a bow, as can music director Pritam. They’ve certainly created dhoom this time around !

Sanjay-Koel: Support group

Actors do try their best to lend their support to people and issues, thereby doing their best to make a difference to society. The most recent issue that has compelled the actors to speak up is that of reservation. The plight of the students is really pitiable and there are many actors empathizing with them. Actress Koel Purie tells us, "The students have my complete support. I SMS them regularly, send out emails in support of them and when I am in Delhi, I spend time with them and am also a part of their protest marches." We also recently received one such support email from actor Sanjay Suri, and his reaction to the entire issue is: "On the one hand we have a booming economy that's the focus of world markets, and on the other this regressive crap. I wonder how our leaders sleep at night!" How indeed?

Neetu Singh makes a comeback!

In the past few years, we've seen celebrated star jodis of the past, like Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia come together on the silver-screen again. Now there's another surprise coming our way - and this one is surely going to be the surprise of the season. Only that this is not an actor-actress jodi we're talking about, it's a mother-daughter pair that's going make a splash. Okay, we won't keep you guessing any more - apparently, one of the most loved actresses of yesteryears, Neetu Singh will be endorsing a brand of jewellery along with her daughter, Riddhima. Sometime ago, on a famous celebrity talk show, Neetu had expressed that she wasn't keen to make a comeback to movies again. So this news has stunned the industry and her fans. No one is complaining, though. The maa-beti pair has shot for the commercial that will go on air soon; and we hear that while Riddhima is looking lovely as always, Neetu is absolutely drop-dead-gorgeous. So what if this is only a 30-sec comeback, it gives us enough reason to hope for bigger things. What say, Bollywood?

Dia Mirza: A dog's life

Actress Dia Mirza is a busy girl. Besides her filmi projects and commitments what's keeping this gal on the run is her dog, Sultan. When we caught up with D last, it was quite late in the evening, and the girl had to rush home for doggy-duties. She told us, "This is what happens when mom's not around. I have to take care of my sweet Labrador. No matter what time I get home at night, I have to take him for a walk. He demands it." 'Sultan's always do! But our dear D loves this part of her day (or night, should we say?), in spite of all her cribbing.

Negar Khan had a 'dress disaster'

The incident was widely reported in all Norwegian newspapers the following day.
Although the top was away from her body for just about 3 seconds, it was enough for all the media and camera crew to capture her topless images.
Her top fell off in front of the entire audience while she was catwalking on the ramp in a two-piece outfit.
